I installed bumblebee and now the problem is fixed. My computer did hang
during the bumblebee installation, but after rebooting and running sudo
dpkg --configure -a and rebooting again, the issue is fixed.
I used this command to install bumblebee:
sudo apt-get install bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia
Can you see if you can at least collect the following data:
1) uname -a uname-a.log
2) dmesg dmesg.log
3) sudo lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log
4) cat /proc/version_signature version.log
