bhaskar, just to clarify, testing the latest mainline kernel (3.18-rc4) would require not using the proprietary nvidia drivers, as the ones in the Ubuntu repositories are built for them. However, this testing gives a data point to if using the nvidia drivers is a potential root cause. -- You rece

bhaskar, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version sp
