The receiver is awake because "kernel: [339132.269449] Bluetooth: hci0 ACL packet for unknown connection handle ##" appears in the system log because I'm shaking the mouse. Sometimes it takes over 4 minutes of shaking to reconnect the mouse. I do not know where to report this bug. Is it the kernel? Because it's the kernel that report that something is happening on the bluetooth receiver. Is it HCI? Because if I reset hci0, I have to shake the mouse again. Is it the hardware driver that enter sleep mode incorrectly? And finally, is it the bluetooth stack? This machine runs Ubuntu 16.04 but I've had this problem as long as I've had this computer. It's a Lenovo G50-45 with a Realtek 8723BE Wifi/Bluetooth combo HARDCODED into the BIOS (It will not boot if you change the network card to something else, like Intel 7260). --- ApportVersion: 2.20-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: fredrik 1894 F.... pulseaudio /dev/snd/controlC1: fredrik 1894 F.... pulseaudio CurrentDesktop: GNOME-Flashback:Unity DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=9ec0fd10-34c8-49e3-b061-5a4ead3a24a9 InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-01-22 (395 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" - Release amd64 (20141022.1) MachineType: LENOVO 80E3 Package: linux (not installed) ProcFB: 0 radeondrmfb ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-4.4.0-6-generic root=UUID=fce91e77-dd20-4685-92a5-d75cd06ff8b6 ro persistent quiet splash vt.handoff=7 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-6.21-generic 4.4.1 RelatedPackageVersions: linux-restricted-modules-4.4.0-6-generic N/A linux-backports-modules-4.4.0-6-generic N/A linux-firmware 1.156 Tags: xenial Uname: Linux 4.4.0-6-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to xenial on 2015-05-26 (272 days ago) UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin netdev plugdev sambashare sudo _MarkForUpload: True dmi.bios.date: 08/26/2014 dmi.bios.vendor: LENOVO dmi.bios.version: A2CN25WW(V1.07) dmi.board.asset.tag: No Asset Tag dmi.board.name: Lancer 5B2 dmi.board.vendor: LENOVO dmi.board.version: SDK0F82993 WIN dmi.chassis.asset.tag: No Asset Tag dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: LENOVO dmi.chassis.version: Lenovo G50-45 dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnLENOVO:bvrA2CN25WW(V1.07):bd08/26/2014:svnLENOVO:pn80E3:pvrLenovoG50-45:rvnLENOVO:rnLancer5B2:rvrSDK0F82993WIN:cvnLENOVO:ct10:cvrLenovoG50-45: dmi.product.name: 80E3 dmi.product.version: Lenovo G50-45 dmi.sys.vendor: LENOVO To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1548317/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
