Description was updated to be totally inaccurate. The problem is that
the laptop does not suspend when the external monitor is attached. The
problem is *not* that it doesn't resume from suspend.
The bug is that it will not suspend when the monitor is attached and the

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
