For completeness, here the Xorg-log. It looks pretty similar to the log
of that FreeDesktop bug 106017; that is trying for ages to get the
display up. There it leads to heavy flicker, and here it leads to a
fail.

Nope, again.
After some 5 or 10 minutes of working, the screen began to look like the old
TV-sets not being synchronized (diagonal coloured bars), and then it went away
completely.
Before writing this message here, I let it run for half an hour or so, and it
shows the display in xrandr, and th

I very much do hope so. Reason: I had bought a new cable mini-DP to HDMI
(deleyCon), and found it also not working when booting to W10. Just rushed out
and bought another one, another brand, and it works.
