I seem to have similar problem. The system hangs on displaying my laptop's branding (legion) and nothing happens. On clicking the shutdown button it hangs on gpu-manager and nvidia-persiste blocking. Everything works fine on 5.4.0-33-generic kernel. Please let me know what info and from which

Hi, we need to have more information when the problem occurs. That is, could you specify more about "can't boot without acpi=off"? At what stage does it hang?
