Title:
Ubuntu 21.10 not booting with 2 screens attached

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

I recently bought a desktop PC with the following hardware:

  Mainboard: ASRock B560 Pro4
  Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB)
  Storage: WD_Black SN850 1TB WDS100T1X0E
Graphics: Processor Graphic (Intel UHD 750)

I installed Ubuntu 21.10 and noticed the following problem:
It freezes at booting (right after GRUB), if there are 2 screens connected.
The mainboard has 1xHDMI and 1xDP, any of them connected alone works fine, but
with both, it just freezes. I tried booting 21.10 from a live USB, resulting in
exactly the same problem (not starting if 2 screens connected).

I should also mention, that connecting 2 screens after the boot
process works completely fine. It is just a problem when booting.

I am for sure not the only one with the problem, I found this problem
in another forum (I currently cannot find it anymore, unfortunately),
where someone had exactly the same problem but with different hardware
(I remember some Nvidia Graphic Card). They reported that the problem
is not there with Ubuntu 21.04.3, so I tried that and it really works
  without any problem.

Hope this helps to prevent the error in future Ubuntu versions, I am
  sticking to 21.04 for now.

  Best regards
  Lukas
