Public bug reported: I am experiencing slow wifi in a fresh installation of Ubuntu 22.04.
On doing some ping experiments, I could see 50% packet loss with avg latency of 232ms as compared to 0 packet loss and 32 ms avg latency with ethernet. My wifi works fine on Windows. Earlier, with Ubuntu 16.04 I was using https://github.com/jeremyb31/rtl8723de.git for WiFi but it no longer installs with this kernel. mayank@singhal:~$ cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 5.15.0-52.58-generic 5.15.60 mayank@singhal:~$ lsmod | grep rtw rtw88_8723de 16384 0 rtw88_8723d 73728 1 rtw88_8723de rtw88_pci 32768 1 rtw88_8723de rtw88_core 258048 2 rtw88_8723d,rtw88_pci mac80211 1249280 2 rtw88_pci,rtw88_core cfg80211 974848 2 rtw88_core,mac80211 Attached output of lspci -vnvn in a file Do let me know if you need some more specific output. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "lspci-vnvn.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1995350/+attachment/5628223/+files/lspci-vnvn.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1995350 Title: Slow Wifi Connection with RTL8723de on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS using default wifi driver Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am experiencing slow wifi in a fresh installation of Ubuntu 22.04.
