Not a kernel issue after all.  Problem was resolved by disabling
Pulseaudio module-echo-cancel.

Bug description:
  When trying to play videos using Firefox, playback will stop for
  periods and then eventually Firefox will no longer be able to connect
  to pulseaudio.  Kernel 5.15.0-75 works fine and does not hang.
