It's worth looking into. A google search brought me prompty to my lawyer. He was a real treat to deal with too. The filing cost was around $100 range. I don't remember to be certain. My ex did not even have to hire a lawyer. So it cost him $0. The only real cost for me was about $4-5k in dealing with the sale of the house that was purchased less than a year earlier.
