Official support for Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" has ended.  If this
is still occurring on Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" please file a new
bug report so that we can get a fresh set of logs and system info.

Title:
  Bluetooth is disabled in 11.10, shows disabled in preference Laptop
  model SONY VAIO EG35

Status in “bluez” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I can see the bluetooth ON in the staus bar, but when i open the preference i 
can see it disabled.THe Bluetooth ON and Visibility option is greyed out , so 
cannot make any changes.
