Thanks for your answer. I have updated to kernel 4.4.121 but the issue
still exists. I will try to update to kernel 4.4.163. But if you could
provide any reason that why i did not see the issue in the 3.12 kernel and
now it happens in 4.4, any changes in 4.4 can trigger the issue? And
