my first driver !

I am considering implementing a SCSI device driver (this is a recomended project ,which nobody wants to give it a try ! ) as a project as part of my curriculum. The project needs be implemented in 1 month. considering that I am a newbie , is it impossible or very tough to do so . Please guide me
