It should be better to use SLOB than SLAB, which has been replaced by SLUB.
Anyway, I have do a check on your config file (do it yourself too
make oldconfig), and u will see that a lot of dependencies

I'm testing 2.6.25-rc8 kernel on our embedded system. It turn out that
/proc/slab_allocators has nothing to show, when cated:
$ cat /proc/slab_allocators
$
Why ?
My config has all memory/slab/leak debugging enabled. Here is the .config:
