No, there are no plans for that as of now that I am aware of, but
don't the current installer work if you just install it on a usb
stick?

Hello.
I would like to have an official portable KiCad version for Windows systems
and an easy way to synchronize it with my usual KiCad installations
(vocational schools, home computer...).
Are there any plans for that? The sync configuration utility night be

I am not going to push either way. I have no real need to build the docs
on OS X, it's just how I used to do it.

Just thoughts for people. asciidoctor has asciidoctor-pdf which allows
direct adoc -> pdf without some latex junk in between. It has styling

Hi folks!
I'm about 6 hours into trying to get OS X to build the docs for KiCad, with
the newer asciidoc stuff. After installing MacTex, which takes up 5G, I
had to screw around to get dblatex working, and now I need to get po4a
installed. I'm not 100% sure it's even supported on Mac OSX. Is it

It seems that since the first RC is out that lots of bugs need to be marked
as "Fix Released". It would probably be a good idea to get this done sooner
rather than later since quite a handful of bugs have been marked as Fix
Committed and I am assuming those fixes won't make it in to the release.

I think this is a general problem with kicad on windows. But please

Thank you for your quick response. It looks good to me, although I

Hello Jean-Samuel
I am told that the rc ppa does not work properly, so I took a look at
the PPA page and it looks like you have not added the wxpython3.0 and
wxwidgets3.0 to the repo. This means that a user can not only add the
4.0 ppa.

It may be a typo and eeschema is not currently parsing the entire line, but
in cases such as this
it is best to keep the typo rather than effectively change the file version
number for no good
technical reason.

dbus is (even if it's probably a little more complex than it needs to
be). systemd is not :D runit and rc scripts forever for me, systemd just
doesn't do what I need...
