... even the Intel HD are very conservative in their hardware GPU implementation :( For the pre-HD the driver exposes an OpenGL 2 API when the hardware it's only made for OpenGL 1.4; probably they did this to run Vista/Seven on these (if you turn off the aero stuff, of course :D). My toughbook
