More help :
Try to rebuild Kicad makefiles from the scratch.
cmake should take in account the gcc version to set the optimization
level:
-O2 for gcc version until 4.6
-O1 for gcc = 4.7
Thanks for the suggestion.. however, since I'm compiling Kicad using
MAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug and by looking at
Yes, the patch in
https://lists.launchpad.net/kicad-developers/msg07907.html fixed the
issue and now Kicad compiles fine.
Sorry for not being more explicit about this.

Hi all,
I was going to compile KiCAD as per today sources. Unfortunately, the
compilation now fails with:
You must use '--with-gnomeprint' or '--with-gtkprint' in your wx
library configuration.
I'm using Archlinux with default package for wxGTK which doesn't have
that config switch
then
the swig code would be x3 times.
So I'll keep playing until I find a good way, and then we could

Please post this on the kicad-users mailing list. This is something

If (1) I think discussing (voting ?) this with users is the right
thing to do.
If (2), I don't care much.

At least, that's what I see when I do launch KiCAD. That would be what
I would expect for a sticker or something like that.

Thank you Dick, it seems that the problem has gone away with 2779.
Would you mind in which commit you fixed this? I'm getting started
with Kicad sources and it would help me as I briefly tried to fix that
problem by myself.
