Re the header guards: It's common in my experience to define include/exclude
type symbols with a non-zero numeric value. This avoids problems when someone
writes "#if SYMBOL" rather than the intended "#ifdef SYMBOL", as a preprocessor
symbol with no value

this is a dev question.
In Pcbnew, you can place what is known internally as the “Aux Origin”. Thus far
the only use for this has been to set the origin for generating Gerber files.

company.
Many fabs provide Eagle DRC files customized to their various offerings. With
