Here is a patch that implements the recommended change to the
libraries-repos-install.sh script. I checked it on OS X 10.9.4 and Ubuntu 14.04

I can't remember where I downloaded it though, and the official kicad page
at http://www.kicad-pcb.org/display/KICAD/Download leads to source (very
difficult to build on
