[kicad-users] Problem editing libraries using text editor

I create a different schematic symbol for each value of component and size. For example, 10K_1%_0402. It's always been faster to create more values by editing the lib file with cut/paste in a text editor. I have run into problems under the latest version of Kicad. For starters, the latest

Hi there is no explanation on how to add the libraries to kicad. I copied all files to their respective folders, but they do not appear in the library editor or whatever. Also i do not see a rebuild or re-scan libraries option. Also in the big file 132Mb where several eagle files are converted
