Hi,
Hi,
I think this will not work. When creating a module, pcbnew seems to take in
account the current settings, but they are changed after the general settings
are changed.
Try to speak to your manufacturer. For us it has worked.
We made the pcb with our pcb maker accuracy, 0.1 mm for the mask.

Relay is essentially one of these:

Thanks Pedro,
How about if I clear the mask setting when laying down the SMD pads in
the editor and then add my own mask area Would that work? Or will
Kicad just put a mask back in for me?

Hi,
Is it possible to have a mask clearance for individual components.
I have some fine pitch .5mm items that need a mask clearance of .05mm
in order to avoid shorts. I can set this in "tracks and Widths" but it
appears to set it fot the whole PCB.
Thanks

I'm using 20080825c, same as you. Fortunately the crashing wasn't an
insurmountable problem for me, but I'm pleased to hear it sounds like
it's been fixed. One of the things that impressed me about kicad when
I first used it was its stability. I too think the developers have
