Please don't change the sources in libkdchart [1] :). This lib is
written and maintained by people at KDAB. We keep a copy in our
repository to make the build process easier and to be able to fix any
chart related bugs faster.

Did you check in projects.kde.org?

In the File menu, you have the Open Recent... option. There you should
have the latest opened file, and that might get you to your lost file.
