Java developer within the pharmaceutical scientific environment
Req Details:
** Lead Java developer **,
A seasoned Java consultant is needed to develop scientific web based
application to manage mouse genotyping requests for Drug Discovery within
Research.
-Advanced expertise in Java with at 6 or more years of development
experience.
-Experience with Labvantage LIMS is a strong plus.
-Excellent understanding of Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML, ATOM, RSS, Strong
working knowledge of AJAX, JSON
-Service-Oriented Architecture, server-based web development, advanced DOM
tree manipulations
-Working knowledge of agile software engineering practices, software
development life cycles and configuration management.
- Experience in scientific application and database development and
functional knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
Work on the Multiple Evidence Viewers the project to deliver improved
generic tools for visualizing and integrating heterogeneous data sources,
particularly around genomic data.Will be responsible for implementing
platform and browser independent, dynamic Web 2.0 user interfaces (including
browser extensions/plugins) and is expected to be able to incorporate
existing solutions to common web visualization problems (TIBCO, Google and
Yahoo API for example).
