Please let me know if you have someone available for the below mentioned position of Dot Net Developer with ETL Experience at Indianapolis, IN *Position Title* – Dot Net Developer with ETL Experience *Location* – Indianapolis, IN *Duration* – 6 Months *Description* The consultant will serve as a technical developer and analyst for tasks included in the technical section of the iEHDI proposal. Such tasks will include but are not limited to: 1. Participation in standardization of data set and transmission protocols/standards 2. Development of necessary enhancements to the EARS application utilized to collect the iEHDI data 3. Analyze the quality of the data collected by the State of Indiana EHDI program to ensure that it is accurate and appropriate to meet business requirements. 4. Data de-identification including pseudonymization according to a CDC checklist and result validation of personally identifiable health information (PHI). 5. Query and export of data and format verification of consolidated data files 6. Transmission and confirmation of receipt of data to the CDC 7. Retrospective analysis of prior tasks and results on a regular basis for identification of problems and potential or necessary enhancements to code or processes This position reports to the ITS application development manager and weekly status reports and daily time entry are required. The consultant will be expected to work closely with the internal ISDH EHDI program staff, and the NBS application development team lead. The consultant will also participate in regular phone and email communication with members of the CDC and others states involved in the contract. To ensure consistency and quality of data, the consultant may also provide support to external partners who use the EARS application and are participants in submitting data that will be transmitted in whole or in part to the CDC. The right person for this position would have experience with ETL or other data manipulation related experience as well as Visual Studio 2008 (ASP.NET& VB.NET) and Oracle 11g. This person should also have experience in validating the quality of large datasets. Good written and oral communication will be very important to be successful in this position. A good understanding of health related data and the HIPAA regulations is preferred.
