Please let me know if you have someone available for the below mentioned position of SQL Server DBA at Little Rock, AR. *Position Title* – SQL Server DBA *Location *– Little Rock, AR *Duration *– 6 Months *Pay Rate* – $35/hour (All Inclusive on C2C) *Description* The DBA will be responsible for maintaining multiple databases in support of the Department of Finance and Administration applications. Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Installing and Upgrading SQL Servers including applying Service Packs Monitoring the Database Server’s Health and Tuning -Optimal server performance -Monitor the error log or event log for database errors -Routine database maintenance, and the overall system maintenance Maintaining and Managing SQL Server Disk Space to make sure the storage utilized properly Performing Backup and recovery -Establishing standards and schedules for database backups -Developing recovery procedures for each database -Making sure that the backup schedules meet the recovery requirements Managing Database Users and Security Working with Developers to tune queries, how to use indexes etc. Log shipping Transaction Log Transferring Data – Importing and Exporting data to and from the SQL Server.
