Hi Davian,
take a look at the itemcallnumber system preference. It's used to
suggest a callnumber for your items from a marc field in the record and
is set to 082 by default.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

Hello All,
We are considering Envisionware as our RFID vendor and wonder if any Koha
Library has used Envisionware in this capacity? We have PC Reservation and
LPTone print Service through them but wonder if the RFID product interfaces
well with Koha. Can we contact you off list?

Hello Koha,
I'm getting an error in /var/log/koha/koha-error.log while uploading cover
images. The upload failes.
This is the error message:

I am wondering the same thing. The leader shows a length of 0 which
would mean the marc record is 0 bytes long. I wonder if this is why the
records are not being recognized/parsed by Koha.

I really believe that there was an update the may have fixed it, but this is
what I ran this morning:
sudo a2enmod rewrite
sudo a2enmod cgi
and restarted the service for apache2.
The error is coming from both the localhost and when I use a browser from my
local machine to the ip address for
The next step is to click on the button "Manage staged records" -- be sure to
look under the blue box and click on import this batch into the catalog. If
there is nothing there recheck your matching rules, then try to import a
different bib. Hope this helps.

Hey Chris,
Made some progress last night. Maybe there was an update, I did find one that I
loaded this AM. But my problem now is that I am getting a config error:
Software error:
Can't call method "config" on unblessed reference at
/usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 56.
For help,
If you delete and then create the (empty) database, that's the current
behaviour. I'm not sure the installer should create the database itself,.

Hello,
I am trying to import some very simple MARC records into Koha 16.11. Here
are the first two records:
=LDR 0nam 220Ia 45e0
=008 170517sxx000\0\und\d
=100 \\$aErica James
=245 \0$aPrecious Time
=952 \\$p100$yAF$d12/17/2015$aFROGL$bFROGL
=LDR 0nam
We had that error, and our only soluction was to reinstall ubuntu, cos
nothing helped.

Dear All,
When I manually delete(or truncate) database koha_library.
There show some error. I think needs some query include in installation
file. So that if koha_library database is not found automatic create
database then installation process be continue.

Hi,
Thank you for your prompt replies. We have tried reseting the mappings
(yesterday was the 2nd time we tried) and rebuilt the ES indexes with
similar results. Now that I know that koha should work with ES 5 I can
re check our configuration. We have been using stuff from the koha
