Hi Katrin > You say the behavior changed - can you verify and tell us the version? Sorry no - I'm no longer sure there was a change in behaviour; it may instead have been that vendor names carried through to item records on migration from our old system. I'll keep an eye on this just in case.

Hi Sally, I usually use the default setting in the bibliographic frameworks as suggested by Carlos. I create a record setting the defaults I want using the plugin (for the 00x this refers to the pop-up window you get instead of entering the values manually). Then I copy the value created and

Hi Sally I'm no expert on this but it looks as though there is a box for 'Default value' -- of course, I don't know how you'd enter a default value there (regular expressions?) so that the system fills in characters 0-5, then 'km', then the rest of the leader. Same deal for the 008. Both
