[Koha] records 'lost' since koha upgrade

Hi, I recently upgraded our Koha to the newest version. Since this upgrade, any new records I enter cannot be searched or edited. I know the record exists in the catalog somewhere b/c the barcodes are used and considered unaccepted duplicates if I try and use them for a different record. Als

[Koha] 'mixed materials' showing up as 'book' item types

als.' I heard this was a bug in the old Koha version and I think these records must have carried over. The mixed material records I create in the new version display correctly. Any suggestions on how I can fix the records carried over from the old Koha versio
