Dear all,
Hope this finds you well. I have configured overdue notices to be run from
Tools Overdue Notices triggers.
My problem is that the cronjob overdue_notices is not being run automatically.
The koha-common file in /etc/cron.daily shows the lines
koha-foreach --chdir --enabled
It sounds like you don't have the 'process_message_queue.pl' cronjob set to
run on the server.
Best regards

I am the Librarian at Akademia, a private higher education institution in South

Hi Steven,
there is a bug on bugzilla to restore the former behaviour:

There is also a cronjob to generate files for printing overdues on the
server: gather_print_notices.pl
Hope this helps,

Dear All,
As we are using the overdue notice trigger cronjob to send overdue notices via
email. The notices created by cron script contains the wrong contents.
It creates and repeats one content for many number of patrons, then randomly
creates another and repeats.
Require urgent help.
Hello Yuval,
Bug found, see the patch on bug 12315.
The script is advanced_notices.pl, not overdue_notices.pl
It is highly recommended not to use this script without the patch attached
to the bug report.

The easiest way is to wait for 3.16.1 where the fix should be integrated.

Hi,
I just upgraded to Koha 3.16 using the Debian repo on Thursday. Everything went
fine and was working well.
On Friday, I found out that a patron received 51 emails of advanced due notices
of other patrons. I confirmed this with the server mail logs, but I have no
idea why this happened.

We've noticed that the email overdue notices that go out only seem to

Hey Koha-
For some reason our system is not sending out overdue notices to our
patrons. Holds and checkins/outs work fine. But no overdue notices have ever
been sent or received. As far as I can tell, the settings in tools are all
correct.
Do your mail logs show anything? Are you using sendmail or postfix or
something else?

In each patrons account, it shows that the notices about check ins/outs have
been sent, but there's nothing listed at all about overdue books. I set up
