Statement by the Cuban Foreign Ministry Just a few hours ago the international community has witnessed a new crime in Palestinian lands, the assassination of Abu Ali Mustafa, leader of the Peopleīs Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Ali Mustafa, historical leader of the Palestinian people, was in his office at Jourdanīs Western Bank, when he was reached by missiles of the Israeli aviation within the policy of what the Israeli authorities call "selective elimination." This barbarian act, using weapons facilitated by the United States, constitutes an evident act of bloody and repulsive terrorism, openly carried out by the top leaders of a state, and is only possible by the impunity of its crimes in the face of international institutions and the irrestricted support of the US authorities. The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Relations energetically condemns this crime and demands the immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
