I know that someone used a leading edge air inlet do drive a gyro, but have never seen any for cockpit air. Don't know why it would not work quite well. I have my vents in the cowling, and it is a bit bothersome to disconnect and connect each time I take the bottom cowl off. See N64KR at http://
