When I read your email the first time I thought you flew back on the new engine
but after rereading I see the new engine is waiting in the shop. Do you plan on
installing the corvair engine anytime soon?

Just returned from an hours flight and enjoyed the last sunset of March in
Wisconsin from 4000'. I took a couple of pictures but they are not worth
posting. Yes, the engine ran flawless and all temps and pressures were good.
Thank you to all who have helped keep me motivated to fly again.

I don't know if you have thought about it or not before you order the spar
material but if you intend to use either of the AS series airfoils that were
developed a number of years ago I think that you would require taller spar
materials. I had to laminate onto top and bottom of the main spa
