I flew up to Santa Maria last fall to do a prop balance job and was told
by Paul Lipps that Roy still comes out to the occasional EAA meeting and
other aviation get-togethers in that area. His plane had a new Revmaster
turbo when it was sold three or four years ago. Somebody in Oregon
restored it
I visited Roy while he was building. He told me a lot about the project. It
was shoehorned into his garage next to his wife's Alfa Romeo. His son was
(is) an aeronautical designer. They changed the airfoil to something close
to what was on the P51 he drove in the military. Roy told me they expected
