Just downloaded Fltplan during lunch break. H seems pretty good. Lots of
info, easy to load and seams fairly user friendly, I will be playing with it
over the next couple days and see how it goes.

One thing I did notice is that not all software has Canadian maps eh. A
small problem for those of us on this side of the border. Anyone have a
recommendation on which is best for use in Canada? ADSB is of no use either
as we don't have that system here in Canada. So far I only notice Fore

In January Fltplan.com released a new and free (supported by ads) flight

Mike,
My advice would be to pick the app (or apps) that suit your flying and the
question of iPad vs Android will probably answer itself. It's not about
the brand of the hardware, it's about the information the app can provide.
Personally I use an iPad, but that's because of one particular app

Hmmm, one other interesting thing I see on the Ifly web site is that
they have a multi platform upgrade for only $19.95 that will allow use
on 3 devices so I could use it on my Android phone and an Ipad if I

I knew that they had a popular GPS. I didn't realize that they had a
tablet version out now. Looks like their software is also compatible
with the Navworks and SkyRadar ADS that the EFIS will work with.
Thanks for the tip, and thanks to the others that also recommended
programs that should work.
