Okay, I need the best of experience and knowledge I have a panel done and
ready to install someone advised that the compass, which is in the top
middle of all the rest, Elec T, voltmeter, gas gauges, pump switches,(2) ,
water temp, all electric , would not operate correctly with
Lift always produces drag. Floats are just about the worst aspect ration
airfoils you can draw. Make lift with wings, make buoyancy with floats. Peter
When you swing the compass, turn everything on that will be running in
flight, the compass will move to its' NEW normal and set it to that. You're
just proving you are smarter than magnets and linseed oil. Of course I'm as
dumb as linseed oil so take it for what it cost you.

Why are float Plane floats fat on top insread of shaped like an airfoil?
If floats were shaped like an airfoil then they would create additional lift.?
