Wow... it HAS been a long time, and there really are a lot of names that I remember from that era. Mike Mims hosted me at his hangar in CA and showed me how to do a fiberglass wet-out and layup. Right then and there, my first ever. John Roffey, the maker of the famous wind tunnel model spars.

Wow!? A bunch of names in that thread that we haven't heard from in ages, and many I had forgotten.? ? 19 years ago.? Reminds me that 19 years ago last week was the first flight of my KR.? 19 years and 1120 hours later, I'm still having fun... and still don't quite have the plane finished. :o)
