Kenneth
Oscar,
I concur with your “certified” spec numbers and anyone exceeding those numbers,
“experimentally”, is doing so at his or her own risk. BTW, max RPM for the A80
is 2700 and the A50 is 1900. This is quite a spread for the same basic engine
(except for the drilled rod caps). I did speak t
. .5 degrees lower,
rpm was higher and speed was lower. .5 degrees higher, rpm was lower and speed
was lower. Pretty efficient leaned out at 90 kts, 1.8 GPH.
The Pig and I saw quite a bit of the Eastern U.S in over 500 hours, but I have
lost contact now.

I don?t think I?d put the sense wire where it might be possible to arc to it as
it might damage the tach. If I recall, I covered the open shield area on the
plug wire with heavy aluminum foil to complete the shield path.

They seem to work fine on the Sonex (about 650 lbs.) that I bought a few years
ago. Of course, it lands a bit slower than the KR2. However, I would prefer
Matco which is what was installed on the Pig. But I?m not going to the effort
and expense of changing them out.
