Guys, with the recent changes in my life I am dropping my asking price to
$3,500.00 for BOTH of my KR projects. Both are in the boat stage, one
single the other double seat. Tails on both are complete. All spars are
done and the wings for the single are about 50% done. Header tank for the

I just purchased a KR2 project from a friend in hopes of using parts on my
KR2s that I have been working on for a while. He has narrowed the fuselage
a little for a single seat version. I have a question. He has a lot done on
the wings. Both outer wings have the top foam in place and sanded to

Bill I look forward to hearing replies. I am considering the weight
difference of possibly using aluminum for ribs and skins? Couldn't someone
make one piece ribs that would slide onto the spars then rivet sheet skins
onto them?

I thought I'd chime in on this one. I also am a past president of an EAA
chapter here in Ohio and found that it is true, you get out of it what you
put into it. However, I also have come to an opinion that EAA, or at least
a lot of its chapters, have become more AOPA. There is very little E in

Where is everyone buying their control push/pull rods or tubes and ends? I

Don, Great looking plane. Do you by chance have pics of your wing
extension? What is your stall speed? I am also looking at extending the
wings and could sure use some pics of your process.

Todd, not long ago Mark L. gave some good advice. Call your project
something besides KR, extend the wings to lower stall speed and go for a
Light Sport Ticket on it. No reason why it wouldn't work.

Hi, I'm Bob and am new to the group. I am looking at purchasing a KR2S

enjoy the rest of life going up for rides.
He is in the boat stage and my question is this, the width of his
fuselage is approximately 36inches between the
