Sid, I had the same problem -I had no SCAT duct either. I put it down to using aviation oil in the Revmaster. I also added an adjustable cowling exit duct and enlarged the inlet ducts. Don't know which of these worked, but my test pilot complained because the oil temps were too LOW .just

Sid, Is the tube necessary? I know it is a good idea to duct it out, but I don't have one and not seen one that does. I know the RVs around here don't have one either and they use a either a Niagara or one just like it. See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics? See you Oct. 4
