I have a tailwheel configuration with the "Grove" main gear legs and no
wheel covers. The brake line follows the rear edge of leg and is glassed
in. Does anyone have any recommendations for jacking plane enough to remove
a main wheel? Is there a clamp-type tool usable around the brake line?

Made a saw horse just tight under the firewall. Put it under the FW and lift
the tail wheel and put something under it. Al

Lift the tail so the plane is around level, put a board under each main wing
stub spar with a jack under the boards, and jack away. To make it safer, use
a short strong saw horse and lower the wing onto the saw horse under each
wing and remove the jacks until finished. With the engine on, it may wa
