This can be and is a major problem with some pilots come medical time. If diagnosed with it, I've been reading on the AOPA medical forum that medicals can be denied and re-instated only after going through some expensive testing. I don't know why a pilot would even mention it to an AME, but when

One question If your not getting enough air in your nose to begin with then how does this thing work by BLOCKING even more air that needs to come in? Does this sound right to anyone? I just had a sleep study done 2 weeks ago and from what my ENT told me this just doesn't sound right. Dav

For anybody with snoring problems or sleep apnea, there are some soft neoprene (I think) plugs with holes in them that work really well to keep the oxygen coming in when sleeping. The eBay seller is "theezebreather". They're a lot more comfortable than the adhesive nose strips they sell at the p
