Thanks Larry, your insight is always appreciated, I was trying to think
if the S could mean something else as I did not want to untune it or
something. What I really need to do is ty it down and run it at full
throttle and then set it. After 2500rpm is where the ign noise

Hi Larry--you are correct, I flew 6399U this morn and
just bumped the squealch ever so slightly, now the radio is noise free
till someone keys up on the same freq. What I did notice is that ATIS
from RDG ( which is approx 20 mi away) no longer triggers the radio till
