I have very long leads on the wiring harness for the EGT and CHT that comes with the Dynon D10 and I asked Dynon if there was any issue with shortening the leads to the proper length. This is not the thermal couple lead coming from the sensor, they are the wire leads going from the end of the

Hi Everyone,  I have a question on hooking up my CHT sensor and my EGT sensor. The leads on the sensors are only about 12" long. Do I need to use the same type of wire or can I use any wire for the extensions to reach the gauge? As always, thanks for the help. Robert Pesak Hermitage,
