Ignoring wind considerations
3 pointing is the slowest you can land a tail dragger.
If you try to land at a higher angle of attack then you can fly slower possibly
by as much as 5mph, it's what happens next that is interesting :(

I went for a short flight in the KR yesterday. When I put it back in
the hangar I decided, for informational purposes, to measure the AOA
of my KR in the three point attitude. My KR sets at 8.5 degrees tail
