flag, but now it does not.

Found it. There is a button under the progress bar which reveals the
transfer rate when pressing it. The button is just not named so I thought
it to be pure decoration.

I updated my archlinux yesterday including kde-stuff to version 4.14. Even
after recompiling krusader from git krusader won't find konsole anymore, so
there is no embedded terminal --

Okay, we have progress, sort of.
When launching root mode K from within K, or from the menu - which is
simply running krusader as root user, then I see the font problem.
However, if I launch with:
sudo krusader
then the fonts are okay - and so are the icons -
although it disturbs me
that the devs aren't interested in finding out why - but the menus
also exhibit the same large font and that us a nuisance. Also, some
apps launched via Krusader inherit the large fonts and that too is a
nuisance.
