I confirm the bug.
It appears that hal fails to detect the fstype, sending and empty string to
ivman, causing the pmount usage messages.

Interestingly this has just started happening to me as well - I'm not
sure if its the same crash or not; in my case I suspect it occurs when
two seperate sound sources try and access it - in particular two flash's
