I tried with the April 20th kubuntu daily build and get the exact same result.
If I'm not the only one, this is a very serious bug.
When breezy was released, there was also a bug preventing the configuration of
the network settings. That was unacceptable. This one has got to be fixed.

I tried every "possibility" I could imagine, I have NEVER been able to
have an activable menu item "File" => "Import messages.
I have latest updates for i686 Dapper and the Administrator Mode for the
printers doesn't work.
Steps to reproduce:
1) K-menu ->
2) System Settings ->
3) Printers ->
4) Administrator Mode ->
5) Password prompt, and no matter if I type the right or wrong pw I end up in
step 4 without the adminis

gtkpod worked fine and the original itunes software. but when used with
amarok the song DB was corrupted or so. so until amarok 1.4 i was forced
to use gtkpod. but as i have seen that 1.4 will most probably not go
into dapper i think it can be dangerous for many ipods out there.

i had the same problem with rhytmbox ,all songs after the ipod was
mounted using that program were not more readable. I had to format my
ipod. Have you tried that process only with amarok or also with another
application?

In System Settings there's a button called "defaults" to reset the
current module to it's default settings. But some of those will not be
reset
It has, when the updates are downloading they aren't installed. When
they aren't installed they aren't installed period. The second is
problem with how kdesu works, not adept -- was there not for kdesu it
would bring the existing instance to front.

I tried to attach a second display to my graphics card and the moment I
attached it to the second DVI port, my mouse and keyboard stopped
working. The
OK, Guidance appears to work (I loaded up the display module, went into admin
mode, made some changes, applied, no errors or other visible signs of problems).
But Adept still complains that it can't open the APT database. The dialogue
