the launch feedback notification icon bouncing on the screen but after some
time adept does not load and the icon goes away...
in my case i launch adept from the menu, if i call it from a terminal it seems

The Konqueror screenshots don't show the view mode toolbar but maybe
it's not turned

The debs from ivomans (the security-patched ones) linked in the above
post fixed my problem in Dapper. Thanks Ben :)
Is there a way that we can get this bug re-instated then, since there's
a legitimate problem and solution for Dapper users?

Why do you say it's not maintained upstream? I do fix all the bugs that
come up and keep it working.
Please reconsider and provide a package to your users.
Thanks.

I'm actually now experiencing a vaguely similar issue in KDE 3.5.5 on
edgy. The KDE Daemon can no longer auto-mount removable media (usb
flash drive, ipod nano, etc). The drives are visible in `lsusb` `dcop
kded mediamanger fullList` and also media:/ but can't be automounted.
cli works fine
This seems to be fixed now and wpasupplicant was already given back.

Have you all simply given up on Ubuntu? How are you coping with the effects
of this bug? It has forced me to try just about every single distro out
there, and sadly, it affects most major distro's. The only ones I've found
it doesn't affect are Mandriva 2007 and Gentoo 2006.1 Both of which I
