Reproducing the bug is easy. just exit the knetworkmanager. Then, I can
easily access internet.

Is there any solution to the problem by now? Or if xine is the problem,
is there any non-xine based videoplayer to watch videos online? (I
thought you might could use gstreamer backend for kaffeine, but if I
attempt to install the kaffeine-gstreamer package, it still installs
xine...)

This is adequately worked around in Hardy. IMO there is no SRU worthy
reason to update pykdeextensions in Hardy.

VLC does not play the video-stream but just says (no video). I found a
website in german (http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Streaming), which told me
that this is a known problem and that VLC has problems with some
streams.

network place, but it's unclear what folder you are trying to open.
Is this just konqueror installed on Ubuntu/Gnome?

I am having the same trouble on my HP 6510b laptop with an HP DVD 840
USB burner. The internal drive gives the same error, but I am not
completely sure it is actually a DVD burner. =) Know issues previously
burning DVDs, but I can't say for sure when I last tried it.

visor, and instead of specifying a /dev/ttyUSB*, one should use usb:
as the port, without the quotes.

situation
When a tab with flash is open, I get this error in Amarok
When I close the tab, the error goes away, and things work fine.

I Checked that it is not necessary to wait until the screen is locked to
reproduce the situation I described in my previous post. I stopped the screen
