Hey, I can confirm this behavior.
For years now, amarok does *only* save the playlist when closing it with the
"Quit" button.
When I turn off my computer without quitting amarok first, it does not save my
playlist. This is really anoying.
I am using amarok with gnome.
Steps to reproduce this bu
Goto kmenu, then search for ksnapshot (Graphics) and edit the item. Then
select the hotkey/shortcut sequence, bind it to print screen and you are
done. This is an educated guess, I'm running kde3 :)

I found a workaround: just install the flashplugin-nonfree package from
hardy-backports.
Steps:
* go to
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy-backports/i386/flashplugin-nonfree/download
* download the package from a mirror
* sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
* sudo dpkg -i

The SSH/SFTP functionality in KDE3 programs (especially Quanta Plus) is

Correct. I need to study a little bit the GPG documentation.
